Water filter jug - or water jug with a filter

If you think clean drinking water sounds tempting, then a water filter jug is the thing for you.

A water filter jug is a water jug with an associated filter. The filter is placed in the middle of the jug. When filling tap water into the jug it runs through the filter before ending up in the jug itself. During filtration, excess quantities of calcium, magnesium and other by-products are removed, resulting in clean and soft drinking water that is both healthier and tastes better than water directly from your tap. 

But isn’t tap water good enough?

In fact, it is not. In general, the water in Denmark has an excessively high content of calcium, which is why we usually categorise our drinking water as being very hard (https://www.dingeo.dk/data/vandhaardhed/). This applies not only to the drinking water, but also the water that goes into your kettle, washing machine, etc. This is invisible to your naked eye, but when you change the filter in your water jug after a certain period of time, you will be able to see a clear result of the filtration (image may be inserted here?)

The water filter jug can be used for several purposes

You do not need to limit the use of your water filter jug to drinking water. In fact, it would be ideal if, before pouring water into your kettle or other kitchen appliances, you first filter the water in the jug to protect the machines. Likewise, the filtration will provide your coffee with a better and softer taste.

The practicality of the water filter jugs

In other words, the small one fits nicely in the household refrigerator, whereas the large one is ideal for an office environment or area with a larger number of people at a time.
