BRITA offers various filter heads with specific bypass settings that control how much of the water is directed past the filter cartridge. The choice of filter head depends on your specific needs and the desired water quality. Here is an overview of the different types:
0% bypass filter head: All water passes through the filter cartridge without being diverted. This is ideal when maximum filtration is required, for example, in areas with very hard water or when complete removal of certain substances is desired.
30% bypass filter head: Here, 30% of the water bypasses the filter cartridge, while the remaining 70% is filtered. This setting retains some of the water's natural minerals, which may be desirable for achieving a specific taste in beverages.
0-70% variable bypass filter head: This filter head allows the bypass setting to be adjusted from 0% up to 70%, providing flexibility to customize the filtration level according to specific needs and local water conditions. It is particularly useful in commercial applications where water quality requirements may vary.

With a BRITA flowmeter, you can easily keep track of the remaining lifespan of your filter.
The flowmeter is set to the specified capacity of the filter and counts down with each liter that passes through. When the capacity is exhausted, the BRITA flowmeter will display how many liters you have exceeded and will begin to flash as a reminder to change the filter.
Additionally, the display will flash if the filter has been in use for over 12 months.
A 3/8" connection can be used with all BRITA Purity C filter cartridges (C50, C150, C300, C500, and C1100).
A 3/4" connection is compatible with all BRITA Purity filter systems without a display: models 450, 600, and 1200.
Which significance does a quooker filter have?
When you add a filter to your quooker, an extra joint is inserted between the water and machine. This filter ensures that limestone, bacteria, bad odor and taste are retained, providing an improved taste, which is healthier for the consumer, while ensuring long endurance for your quooker.
Different sizes and needs
Our Purity C filters from Brita are a series of limestone-reducing filters for professionals; however, they are also idyllic for private households, e.g. with a quooker in the kitchen. They have all been designed for a maximum pressure of 8.6 bars and a maximum temperature of 30 Celsius. Since the filters strain cold water before the quooker heats it up, the filter is idyllic for filtrations of water for the quooker. Moreover, it is important to be aware of the capacity of the filter, meaning how much water the filter can strain over time, just as you should contemplate your needs. It is also important to find the proper Brita filter head for your soft drink filter.
