UV filter is a special filter that breaks down DNA on organisms so they can not multiply.
UV filters should preferably have a kind of fine pre-filter to prevent organisms from hiding behind small particles that can prevent the organisms from being irradiated by the UV rays.

Replacement lamp for SABRE UV System
The UV lamp's intensity gradually decreases over time, and we recommend replacing it after 12 months or 9,000 hours of use, whichever comes first.
Please note that the lamps are specifically tailored to each system, so choose the correct model for your equipment.
- SABRE - Quartz Sleeve For SABRE UV SystemAs low as €30.97
SABRE UV systems use high-quality UV lamps and glass quartz sleeves to target the precise wavelength required for disinfection. With average use, the quartz sleeve should be cleaned after 3-6 months and inspected after 12 months for scratches or staining.
The maximum lifespan of a quartz sleeve is 24 months.
Note: Quartz sleeves are specific to each system.
A UV filter can be used for many different purposes within water purification. UV radiation is an effective weapon against bacteria, while it is inexpensive to operate and easy to maintain. Our UV filters are from SABRE, and the size of the system varies depending on how much water you need the system to handle. But all of them are designed for private use or for less commercial purposes.
How UV filtration works
A UV filtration system works like a closed environment, where water enters a tank containing a UV pipe, which illuminates the water and kills bacteria. When the water has passed from one end to the other, it will be led out and can then be used as pure drinking water. The system can be wall-mounted to save space.
With a UV filter system, it’s important that the water is filtered before it enters the tank, as the bacteria have to be separated for the UV light to burn them. If the masses of bacteria entering the system are too large, the UV system will not be able to burn them. If you look closely at an individual system, you will see what kind of filtration we recommend for the system.
Maintenance
If a lamp breaks or needs to be replaced for other reasons (we recommend they are replaced once a year), new ones can be purchased from our website. The system needs to be connected to the power to work, which also means that, in terms of installation, there is not much work to do. We recommend that the glass is cleaned 3 or 4 times a year, so that the light is not obscured in any way.
