Filter Bag

Bag filters

There are many different kinds of bag filters on the market, and at Filter-Online we sell several different kinds ourselves. At the top of the page you will find a size guide, which is important for the system the filter is mounted on. Therefore, once you have found the bag filter that meets your specifications, double-check the size of the filter before placing it in your basket. If the filter is not suitable for the system’s “framework” where the filter is to be placed, there is a risk that the particles captured by the filter might flow past the filter.

When you choose a bag filter, it’s often because you have a larger and older system, as it’s these that use bag filters. Bag filters are often used for systems that are utilised in large housing constructions, as they are well used in systems where they capture large volumes of particles, often dust and pollen. It is therefore also difficult to assess how long a bag filter will last, as it depends on how much dust is gathered up.

Can your system also use a particle filter?

Bag filters are small, and generally have a small area of application, which is because they are made for systems that have been around for years. In other words, we have become wiser with time, and today we use particle filters to a far greater extent. Some of the systems that use bag filters can also use particle filters, and if this sounds like your system, we recommend that you have a look at our particle filters instead.

Are you in any doubt?

If you are in any doubt about whether you should use a bag filter or not, feel free to contact us. But the general rule of thumb is that bag filters are used on systems that are several years old. As regards the bag filter size, the system’s framework often shows what the circumference is, and hence what size bag filter you need. But we can help you with this too.
