Maintenance – Pool & Spa
- Saniklar Winter Clean
Saniklar Winter Clean acts as an effective preservative, used alongside the disinfectant for winter protection of all types of pool water. At the same time, the product ensures the hygienic quality of your pool water.
The product is added to prevent algae growth and to avoid calcium and metal deposits on the pool's bottom and sides. In this way, spring preparation of your pool is reduced to a minimum.
Avability:In stock€57.91 - Saniklar SunFlok Magic Rolls
Saniklar SunFlok Magic Rolls is a slow-dissolving flocculant that is placed in the skimmer basket and dosed gradually over several days. A sand filter functions optimally when pool water is continuously supplied with flocculant.
The product gathers particles in the water that are too small to be filtered by the sand filter into larger flocs that can be retained by the sand filter. These particle flocs are easily removed from the filter by backwashing.
The product is suitable for all pools with glass or sand filters, whether chlorine-containing or chlorine-free care products are used.
Avability:In stock€37.43 - SpaCare Filter Cleaner
SpaCare Filter Cleaner is used to clean the filter cartridges in outdoor spas.
The cartridge filter in your spa collects various forms of debris when the spa is in use. This creates a buildup on the filter, reducing its ability to purify the water.
Remove the filter cartridges from the filter housing and clean off visible debris. Soak them in a cleaning container or similar, containing a solution of 1 dl SpaCare Filter Cleaner and water for at least 12 hours. Then rinse thoroughly with clean, warm water. The filter is now ready for use again.
Avability:In stock€12.34 - SpaCare Cover Protect
SpaCare Cover Protect is used to waterproof the thermal cover of your outdoor spa after cleaning it with SpaCare Cover Cleaner. This is done both to make the cover look better and to extend its lifespan.
Avability:In stock€15.98 - SpaCare Cover Cleaner
SpaCare Cover Cleaner is used to clean the thermal cover of your outdoor spa. After cleaning, it is recommended to apply SpaCare Cover Protect to waterproof it.
Avability:In stock€11.80 - SpaCare Bright & Clear
SpaCare Bright & Clear is a liquid flocculant that causes small particles in the water to come together, allowing the filter to remove them.
NOTE! Only use SpaCare Bright & Clear when you observe that the water is cloudy. Excessive use of the flocculant can lead to filter issues.
Add only 10 ml of Bright & Clear per 1,000-1,500 liters of water.
Having issues with the cartridge filter? Clean it with SpaCare Filter Cleaner.
Avability:In stock€11.69 - SpaCare SpaClean Spray
Is your spa waterline dirty due to calcium deposits? SpaCare SpaClean Spray is sprayed on the dirty area and easily removes stubborn dirt in both indoor and outdoor hot tubs.
Spray SpaCare SpaClean on the soiled area and let it work for 5-15 minutes before wiping it off with a cloth.
The product can also be used in bathrooms, on tiles, and in shower stalls.
For a beautiful and shiny result, you can polish the cleaned area with SpaCare Beauty Polish, which also provides a dirt-repellent surface to the tub.
Avability:In stock€8.47 - Saniklar Clear Water
Saniklar Clear Water is a liquid flocculant used for rapidly improving the clarity of pool water.
The product acts like a "magnet," gathering the fine suspended particles that make the water appear cloudy and murky. These particles are then grouped into larger flocks, which can be trapped in a glass or sand filter or vacuumed from the pool's bottom, where they have collected. The particle flocks are easily disposed of from the filter during backwashing.
The product can be used in all types of pools, whether chlorine-based or chlorine-free maintenance products are used.
- SpaCare Biofilm Cleaner
SpaCare Biofilm Cleaner is a liquid scrub brush that effectively removes bacteria-laden biofilm from the plumbing system of a hot tub.
Modern outdoor hot tubs have over 100 meters of hoses and pipes. If these hoses and pipes are not kept free of biofilm and bacteria, it can be impossible to maintain satisfactory water quality in the hot tub.
Biofilm Cleaner should be used 2-4 times a year in connection with water changes or if you experience water quality issues.
NOTE! Do not bathe in water treated with SpaCare Biofilm Cleaner.
Avability:In stock€39.58 - SpaCare Pipe Cleaner 125 ml.
SpaCare Pipe Cleaner is used to clean the hidden plumbing system in smaller hot tubs with a water capacity of under 500 liters, such as indoor hot tubs. The product has been tested and documented for use in rental cottages.
NOTE! Do not use water treated with SpaCare Pipe Cleaner for bathing.
After pipe cleaning, a greasy residue in the waterline is often observed, which can be easily removed using SpaCare SpaClean Spray.

Maintenance of Pool & Spa
Maintaining your pool and spa is crucial to ensure the cleanliness and safety of the water, as well as to extend the lifespan of your equipment.
Filter-Online offers several types of products from SpaCare and Saniklar for cleaning and maintaining your pool and spa. This includes both the visible parts and those hidden away - including the piping system in hot tubs.
Here are some basic maintenance tips:
Pool Maintenance
- Water Quality: Regularly test the water to ensure the correct balance of pH, chlorine content, alkalinity, and calcium hardness. This can be done with test strips or digital testers.
- Filtration: Keep the filter clean and in good condition. Clean or replace sand, cartridges, or glass filter media as recommended by the manufacturer.
- Cleaning: Use a pool vacuum to remove dirt from the bottom. Regularly brush walls and bottom to prevent algae growth.
- Circulation: Ensure that the water circulates effectively. A good rule of thumb is to circulate the water in the pool 2-3 times over a 24-hour period.
- Skimming and Scraping: Remove leaves, insects, and other floating debris daily with a skimmer. Also, regularly clean the skimmer baskets.
- Chemical Balance: Adjust the chemicals based on water testing. Use shock treatment as needed, especially after heavy use or heavy rain.
Spa Maintenance
- Water Quality: As with pools, it's important to keep the water's chemical balance in check with regular testing.
- Filtration: Clean and replace the spa filter more frequently than pool filters, as hot tubs often have a higher user load relative to the volume of water.
- Cleaning: Regularly drain and clean the spa to remove dirt and lime deposits. Also, remember to clean the spa cover.
- Disinfection: Use bromine or chlorine specifically designed for hot tubs to keep the water clean and safe.
- Cover: Always use a cover when the spa is not in use to keep it clean and to minimize heat loss.
- Hydrotherapy Jets: Clean jets and ensure they are free from lime and other deposits for optimal performance.
Always follow the manufacturer's specific recommendations for maintenance and chemical use, as equipment and materials can vary. Regular maintenance helps to prevent serious problems and ensures that you can enjoy your pool and spa for many years to come.
