Water filtration for e.g. The HoReCa industry

In the kitchen of hotels, restaurants and cafes or canteens in other types of businesses, there is often a need to filter water - either in connection with brewing e.g. coffee and espresso, but also in i.a. drinking water dispensers that often are made available to employees.

An APRO 100 PRO is a reverse osmosis system that has been specially developed to be connected to a professional coffee setup.

APRO 100 PRO carefully removes all the impurities that affect the taste of a coffee or espresso. At the same time, the system leaves the necessary minerals that are essential to achieve a rich coffee taste, refreshing tea or just clean water.

The mineralization is easy to adjust and runs completely stably. This is easily done on the knob on the front of the system.

    Advantages of APRO 100 PRO:

    • Ultra-low energy consumption - Patented technology
    • User-friendly operation
    • Adjustable mineralization via bypass
    • Stable taste
    • Compact design
    • Easy maintenance
    • Can produce up to 100 l/h
    • Includes Gross 10" DUO-prefiltration
    • Includes connecting hoses and fittings.
    • The system is plug & play
    • The boosterpump saves up to 50% on the electricity bill

An RO-Membrane cannot handle large amounts of lime. If APRO 100 PRO is to be used in an area with a high lime content in the water, Filter-Online strongly recommends the installation of e.g. a water softener to soften the water before entering the APRO 100 PRO.

PURITY C Quell ST filter cartridges are specially developed for the gastro- and sales sectors, the filters reduce the carbonate hardness of drinking water and therefore reduce the risk of limescale deposits in the equipment.

In addition, the filter medium retains metal ions such as lead or copper and also reduces substances that can have a negative effect on taste and aroma (such as chlorine residues).

The capacity is calculated based on 0 % bypass and a hardness of 10 °dH

Reverse osmosis – gives your coffee a boost

Brewing a good cup of coffee or espresso has gradually become like science. Baristas spend several hours developing just the right flavor from the right coffee bean, so the coffee is both full-bodied and rich in flavor.

But no coffee without water and here hardly any time is spent on finding the right structure. Water is not just water. You can choose to add minerals, remove minerals or you can run them through a system that can adjust the final amount of salts, minerals, etc. using a bypass system.

That is exactly what APRO NP 80 & 120 from AQUAPHOR can do. The system can be adjusted via bypass, so you get exactly the right amount of minerals, salts, etc. you want in your coffee mix. That way, you can play with the flavors and find the perfect combination.

Reverse osmosis for dishwashers

Not only is reverse osmosis good for coffee brewing, it is also good when it comes to washing glass and dishes, both in small and large kitchens. With APRO 120 incl. prefilter with antiscale effect, you get a device that removes almost everything in the water, so no lime, salt or other unnecessary particles will be left behind. In this way, a shiny and clean result is achieved - EVERY TIME.

Filter-Online has several types of equipment designed for dishwashers and these are available in different sizes, depending on the task to be solved. If it is a system without an anti-calc effect, it is recommended to install a Smartflow water softener in front, to protect the membranes in the reverse osmosis system.

Water filter for coffee & espresso machines

Limescale is a coffee machine's enemy number 1. If you don't pay attention to the limescale, heat elements can become limescale and that will affect both the taste and efficiency of the coffee machine.

To make it come to life, you can install a water filter from 3M or Brita before the coffee machine or drinking water dispenser. This type of filter has different functions, depending on the model and the purpose of the filtration. It may be lime that is removed via the lime encapsulation method or the ion exchange method, so that the lime cannot settle on surfaces in the machine.

For the drinking water dispenser, the active carbon technology is used in particular. It can reduce bad smells, organic matter, ocher and rust in the water, which gives an optimal result for drinking water.
