    Replacement filter for drinking water.

    The filter fits Crystal H / Crystal H-B.

    K7B - 0.1 microm microfilter removes 99.9% of bacteria and organic substances, heavy metals and particles down to 0.1 µm.

    The filter can also be used separately with a single water filter head.

    The filter is easy to replace and should be changed every 6 months or after 6000 liters to avoid the formation of bacteria in the filter.

    A hollow fiber membrane installed at the entrance of the module removes particles as small as 0.1 micron and provides 99.99% protection from bacteria.

    This replacement filter uses an ultra- dense CarbFiber Block made from powdered activated coconut shell carbon. It removes the residual concentrations of organic contaminants and heavy metals. It filters particles down to 0.8 micron in size.

    An APRO NP 120 is a reverse osmosis system that has several advantages. The system can both be connected to a professional coffee setup, but also has its justification in private homes. The system is optimal where you do not want a completely ordinary reverse osmosis system, as here you have the option of mixing the filtered reverse osmosis water with ordinary inlet water. The water here is filtered through the K7B membrane filter cartridge to remove bacteria and viruses and thus gives a perfectly balanced end result.

    APRO NP 120 carefully removes all the impurities that affect the taste of a drink. At the same time, the plant leaves the necessary minerals that are essential to achieve a rich coffee taste, refreshing tea or just clean water.

    The mineralization is easy to adjust and runs completely stably.

Reverse osmosis systems are often found in industrial contexts where the water used must be free of pesticides and viruses. These systems are often large and require quite some water consumption to operate at full capacity, as they are built to be able to supply clean water to several machines at the same time. This is usually not needed in a private household, as the water to be purified here in most contexts will be used for drinking water. Therefore, you need a small, compact system that can be connected to the tap in your home, and which has the opportunity to re-mineralise the water in order to ensure that the minerals in the water that you want to include in your drinking water are returned. Our "Reverse Osmosis RO-202sc Crystal - Mineralised" system can handle this.

How does reverse osmosis work?

Imagine a water tank in which we insert a semipermeable membrane in the middle. In one side we have the water to be filtered (side A) and in the other side we do not have anything yet (side B). At a normal osmotic pressure, the water will be evenly distributed in side A and side B respectively, so that there is an equal amount of molecules in both sides. However, since we want the water to be purified of the molecules, we need these molecules to remain in side A, which can be done with reverse osmosis. For this to be possible, a pressure must be added that causes the water to flow through the membrane without running back again. The pressure must of course be higher than the osmotic pressure, otherwise we will see the effect of the osmotic pressure that will equalise the number of molecules.


As previously mentioned, our system contains the possibility of re-mineralisation, which is necessary for the water to be used as drinking water. Water contains natural minerals and salts that the body needs, but with reverse osmosis filtration, many of these minerals and salts are filtered out, as they are unnecessary for industrial purposes, where the water is used for purposes other than drinking water. For example, salts are filtered out, as the restaurant industry wants completely shiny surfaces on plates and cutlery after being washed in the dishwasher.  In order for the water to be re-mineralised, a mineral container must be used which is included, but when it has been used up, a new one must be purchased (link to this: -k7bm-mineralization).
