The BRITA Flowmeter allows you to easily keep track of your filter’s remaining lifespan.
It is set to the filter’s specified capacity and automatically counts down for every litre of water that passes through.

When the capacity is reached, the flowmeter shows how many litres you have exceeded and the display flashes as a reminder to replace the filter.
It also flashes if the filter has been in use for more than 12 months.

The BRITA Purity C Steam 3/8" filter head provides reliable connection and ensures your filter system performs optimally in every application.

Total Hardness Test from BRITA, used to measure the hardness of your drinking water.

Can also be used in connection with water softening systems, so you can calculate the capacity based on the result obtained.

Instructions:

Fill the test tube with 5 ml of water, then add the hardness test drop by drop until the water changes color from red to green. At the first drop, the water turns red, then you count the number of drops until the water changes color to green.

Water hardness (dH):

0-4 drops = Very soft

4-8 drops = Soft

8-12 drops = Medium hard

12-18 drops = Fairly hard

18-24 drops = Hard

BRITA offers various filter heads with specific bypass settings that control how much of the water is directed past the filter cartridge. The choice of filter head depends on your specific needs and the desired water quality. Here is an overview of the different types:

0% bypass filter head: All water passes through the filter cartridge without being diverted. This is ideal when maximum filtration is required, for example, in areas with very hard water or when complete removal of certain substances is desired.

30% bypass filter head: Here, 30% of the water bypasses the filter cartridge, while the remaining 70% is filtered. This setting retains some of the water's natural minerals, which may be desirable for achieving a specific taste in beverages.

0-70% variable bypass filter head: This filter head allows the bypass setting to be adjusted from 0% up to 70%, providing flexibility to customize the filtration level according to specific needs and local water conditions. It is particularly useful in commercial applications where water quality requirements may vary.

Brita Aqua Aroma Crema is a filter for espresso and coffee machines. It removes lime in the water and improves the taste of the water. The filter is placed directly in the water tank.

Brita Aqua Gusto 100 is recommended for coffee and espresso machines with a water tank capacity of up to 1.5 liters.

Brita Aqua Gusto 250 should be replaced after 250 liters or 6 months. AquaGusto 250 is recommended for coffee and espresso machines with a water tank capacity of 1.5 to 3.5 liters. If the water tank is larger than 3.5 liters, it is recommended to use two AquaGusto filter pads.
