BRITA PURITY C - C500 MinUp

The BRITA PURITY C500 MinUp is a mineralization cartridge specially developed for areas with very soft water (carbonate hardness ≤ 3°dH). In such regions, low hardness levels can overemphasize acidity in coffee, resulting in a flat and unbalanced taste.

By increasing the carbonate hardness to the ideal range, the C500 MinUp ensures a full-bodied aroma and balanced flavor in every cup.
It releases naturally occurring calcium carbonate into the water, gradually raising hardness levels:

• from 1°dH to approx. 2°dH
• from 2°dH to approx. 3°dH
• from 3°dH to approx. 5°dH

This mineralization remains stable throughout the cartridge’s lifespan, guaranteeing consistent water quality. It also increases the TDS value, ensuring reliable performance of coffee machine water sensors and optimal extraction during brewing.

For best results, combine the PURITY C500 MinUp with the BRITA PURITY C Quell ST prefilter, ensuring reliable mineral release, improved coffee flavor, and protection against limescale.
