Gross filter house

Gross filter houses correlate with gross filters, which are eligible pre and post filters for additional filtration methods, such as central filtrations or reverse osmosis facility. The filters have been manufactured for specific materials, which are not intercepted by other filtration methods, e.g. iron or taste and smell (activated carbon).

Gross filter houses come in two sizes, 10” and 20”, just as the other filters. The smallest ones can endure a flow of 80 liters of water each minute, whereas the biggest ones can endure 150 liters of water each minute.

AQUAEFFECT 10" is a robust filter housing, ideal for mechanical filtration of cold water.

This filter housing handles up to 30 l/min.

The depth filter is specially designed to remove particles, sediments, and sand from water, making it an effective pre-filter.

The activated carbon filter absorbs harmful substances such as chlorine, chloramine, pesticides, herbicides, solvents, and organic chemicals, resulting in clean and great-tasting water.

It protects your household appliances from solid particles such as sand, rust, and other impurities.

Different Gross filters

We deal in three different gross filters (2 x depth filters, 2 x activated carbon and an iron filter). They are all filtered down to 5 µm, which corresponds to a normal filtration, during which the most common particles are being removed. The filters need replacing every six months for the optimum efficiency.

These filters cannot work alone but require a large facility in a well-established setup. For example, the filters are not big enough to manage a household’s water supply alone, which is why we recommend that they are either applied before or after the main filter. An essential detail is that these filters have been food approved, which is also why they may usually be located in business purposes.
