Ocher filter in stainless steel - Long durability
With an ocher filter, you remove i.a. unwanted color and odor from the water.
Ocher is a naturally occurring soil type that can appear with yellowish, reddish or brownish tones. For quite a few years now, ocher has been used to give color to e.g. walls and facades.
Ocher is not something we humans need to fear, but it can be dangerous for our animals. Especially if you look towards Jutland, ocher poisoning in creeks and streams is a big problem.
Before investing in an ocher kit, we recommend having a water sample taken, as e.g. manganese - which cannot be filtered with ordinary filters, can also cause yellowish water.
Ocena ocher kits have many of the same qualities as Vana ocher kit. Where the difference is particularly decisive is that Vana contains housings in food-approved plastic - where Ocena contains housings in stainless steel, which are particularly distinguished by the fact that they are suitable for drinking water and have a durability that lasts for several years!

Set with 2 filters
- Vana Depth – 5 µm: installed as a pre-filter in the first housing. Removes sand, stones, and larger particles.
- Vana Pleat – 0.35 µm: installed in the second housing and functions as an ocher filter. Removes fine particles such as ocher, rust, and microplastics.
Set with 3 filters
- Vana Depth – 5 µm: pre-filter that removes sand and larger particles.
- Vana Pleat – 0.35 µm: ocher filter that removes rust, ocher, and microplastics.

The replacement filters are available in two versions, one set with two filters and one set with three filters.
The replacement filters fit the Vana 10” Jumbo Ocherkit.The set with two filters includes:
- 1 pc. Vana Depth 10" Jumbo - 5µm filter, placed as a pre-filter in the first housing where the water enters.
- 1 pc. Vana Pleat 10" Jumbo - 0.35µm filter, placed in filter housing no. 2 and acts as the ochre filter. It removes smaller particles like ochre, rust, and microplastics.
The set with three filters includes:
- 1 pc. Vana Depth 10” Jumbo - 5µm filter, placed as a pre-filter in the first housing where the water enters.
- 1 pc. Vana Pleat 10” Jumbo - 0.5µm filter, placed in housing no. 2 and acts as the ochre filter. It removes smaller particles like ochre, rust, and microplastics.
- 1 pc. Vana AC 10” Jumbo - Activated carbon filter, placed in the last housing, which absorbs impurities from the water, including certain pesticides and dyes.
The filters should be replaced every 6 months to avoid the formation of bacteria in the filter.
The elements are made from food-grade and BPA-free materials.
