Ocher filter in stainless steel - Long durability
With an ocher filter, you remove i.a. unwanted color and odor from the water.
Ocher is a naturally occurring soil type that can appear with yellowish, reddish or brownish tones. For quite a few years now, ocher has been used to give color to e.g. walls and facades.
Ocher is not something we humans need to fear, but it can be dangerous for our animals. Especially if you look towards Jutland, ocher poisoning in creeks and streams is a big problem.
Before investing in an ocher kit, we recommend having a water sample taken, as e.g. manganese - which cannot be filtered with ordinary filters, can also cause yellowish water.
Ocena ocher kits have many of the same qualities as Vana ocher kit. Where the difference is particularly decisive is that Vana contains housings in food-approved plastic - where Ocena contains housings in stainless steel, which are particularly distinguished by the fact that they are suitable for drinking water and have a durability that lasts for several years!

Replacement filter for Vana 20" Jumbo Ocher Kit.
The replacement filters are available in two versions: a set with two filters and a set with three filters.
The replacement filters fit the Vana 20” Jumbo Ocherkit with two or three filter housings.The set with two filters contains:
- 1 pc. Vana Depth 20" Jumbo - 5µm filter, which is placed as a pre-filter in the first housing where the water enters.
- 1 pc. Vana Pleat 20" Jumbo - 0.35µm filter, which is placed in the second housing and functions as the Ocher filter. It removes smaller particles such as Ocher, rust, and microplastics.
The set with three filters contains:
- 1 piece. Vana Depth 5" - 5µm filter is placed as a pre-filter in the first housing where the water enters.
- 1 piece. Vana Pleat 20" Jumbo - 0.35µm filter is placed in housing no. 2 and acts as the ocher filter. It removes smaller particles such as ocher, rust and microplastic.
- 1 piece. Vana AC 20" Jumbo - The activated carbon filter is placed in the last housing and absorbs bad taste and odors from the water as well as pesticides and dyes.
The filters should be replaced every 6 months to prevent bacteria from forming in the filter.
The elements are made of food approved and BPA-free materials.
